Job Description

Clinical Assessor Coordinator General Position Information Position:
Full-Time Pay Rate:
Starting at $21.00 + per hour (based on experience, education, and qualifications)
Holiday Pay Sick Pay:
40 hours after 90-day period
Vacation Pay:
Accrues on anniversary dates Role Manages the initial stages of member engagement, ensuring a smooth and coordinated intake experience. Conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, gathers documentation, and liaises with key stakeholders to support clinical decision-making. Responsibilities Member Engagement
  • Provide a warm, welcoming intake experience, clearly explain the process, and address questions. Assessments & Treatment Planning
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document findings. Documentation & Record Completion
  • Collect and verify all required medical, legal, and historical documentation to establish a complete medical record. Coordination with Staff & Supervisors
  • Collaborate with administrative staff and clinical supervisors to ensure accurate documentation and service coordination. External Collaboration
  • Communicate with outside agencies and referral sources to obtain additional records and support the intake process. Attendance & No-Show Management
  • Track member attendance, conduct follow-ups, and enforce rescheduling and case closure policies. Prior Authorization (PA) Requests
  • Submit PA requests, assist in establishing medical necessity, and manage denials and case closures. Professional Development
  • Stay updated on best practices, regulations, and clinical procedures. Community & Non-Profit Involvement
  • Participate in outreach, fundraising, and organizational events.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in community mental health or a similar setting.
Language:
Bilingual proficiency required.
Technical Skills:
Strong EHR documentation and case management skills. Professionalism & Confidentiality
  • Ability to handle sensitive information ethically and legally. Flexibility & Adaptability
  • Ability to navigate changing member needs in a dynamic setting.
