Job Responsibilities:

Patient Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans. Answer patient inquiries and provide information on procedures, treatment options, and expected outcomes. Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits. 2.
Treatment Plan Coordination:
Develop and explain treatment plans to patients in coordination with healthcare professionals (e.g., doctors, dentists, or specialists). Review and ensure patient understanding of treatment plans, timelines, and costs. Help patients understand financing and insurance coverage for treatments. 3.
Financial Coordination:
Present and explain payment options to patients. Assist patients in setting up financing or payment plans. Communicate with insurance companies to verify coverage and benefits. 4.
Administrative Support:
Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Track patient progress and follow up on treatment compliance. Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure that appointments, treatments, and patient care are managed efficiently. 5.
Patient Advocacy:
Act as a liaison between the patient and the healthcare provider. Address patient concerns and ensure they have a positive experience. Support patients emotionally by explaining complex medical information in a compassionate, easy-to-understand manner. 6.
Office Support:
Manage schedules for healthcare providers to ensure efficient treatment delivery. Coordinate with clinical staff to streamline workflow and patient care processes. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of treatments, procedures, and insurance policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication to explain treatment plans and handle patient concerns.
Customer Service:
Strong interpersonal skills to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple cases, treatment schedules, and patient files efficiently.
Knowledge of Insurance & Financing:
Familiarity with dental insurance billing, coverage, and payment plans.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in patient management software, scheduling systems, and office tools.
Empathy and Compassion:
Ability to relate to patients' concerns and provide comfort and support.
Education & Experience:
A background in dental administration is often required. Prior experience in patient coordination or customer service in a healthcare setting. This role is key in ensuring patients understand their treatment plans and feel supported throughout their care journey.

$26.28 - $30.00 per hour
