Position Overview The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring every patient has a seamless and positive experience from the moment they contact the office through completion of treatment. This role focuses on patient communication, treatment coordination, scheduling optimization, and relationship building. . This role will be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing mail, and performing administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying organized, and being part of a collaborative team. Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Experience Welcome and assist patients with warmth and professionalism Guide patients through their visit from check-in to check-out Ensure patients understand recommended treatment and next steps Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment or questions Treatment Coordination Present treatment plans and financial options to patients Coordinate appointments for restorative, cosmetic, and implant procedures Track unscheduled treatment and assist patients in scheduling care Help patients understand insurance benefits and estimated out-of-pocket costs Scheduling & Practice Flow Maintain an organized and productive schedule Optimize scheduling for doctors and hygienists Confirm upcoming appointments and manage schedule adjustments Communication Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries professionally Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow Maintain accurate patient records within the practice management system Administrative Duties Document patient interactions Assist with reports related to treatment acceptance and scheduling Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Qualifications Previous experience in dental treatment coordination required Experience with dental practice management software is a plus Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized and detail-oriented Computer and Office Software proficiency Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional appearance and positive attitude What We Offer Competitive compensation Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth and development Modern technology and systems A practice culture focused on quality patient care
