This role is vital in ensuring seamless patient care coordination, supporting clinical staff, and maintaining efficient administrative workflows within our medical or dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of medical terminology and office procedures. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient services while working in a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities Coordinate patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals to ensure timely care delivery Assist clinical staff with administrative tasks such as data entry, chart management, and documentation Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment scheduling, pre-visit instructions, and post-visit follow-up Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy regulations Support billing and insurance processing activities as needed Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries related to patient care and clinic operations Collaborate with medical professionals to facilitate smooth workflow within the practice Ensure the clinic environment adheres to safety and cleanliness standards Skills Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures Proficiency in medical administrative support functions such as scheduling, billing, and record management Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, providers, and insurance companies Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with office software applications (e.g., EMR systems, MS Office Suite)
Qualifications:
Must be a LVN or RN with an active, unincumbered license to practice in CA Must have, as a minimum, 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities. Benefits:
