Swedish Medical Center, a leader in the HealthONE network, is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Coordinator to join our esteemed healthcare team. This role is pivotal in coordinating efforts to deliver exemplary respiratory services across our comprehensive care facility. You will facilitate the management and development of our respiratory therapy department, upholding the highest levels of patient care in line with our reputation for excellence in medical service provision. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing patient outcomes through effective leadership and acute clinical expertise. Coordinate and oversee all daily operations of the respiratory therapy department. Implement policies and protocols to ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality respiratory care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to integrate respiratory care with other patient treatments. Manage staffing, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation of respiratory therapy staff. Stay informed on the latest respiratory treatments and technologies, integrating them into departmental practices. Assess and optimize patient care plans, intervening directly with critical respiratory cases. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Strong leadership and organizational skills Expert knowledge of respiratory care practices and protocols Ability to communicate effectively with diverse medical teams Proficient in using medical software for patient care management Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
BLS/ACLS
certification.
