Treatment Coordinator | Oral Surgery Practice Full-Time | No Weekends | Full Benefits Deliver exceptional patient care and build a career that matters. We are seeking a sophisticated, highly organized, and confident Treatment Coordinator to join our elite oral surgery practice. In this pivotal role, you are the bridge between clinical recommendations and patient action. You will guide patients through their surgical journey with clarity, empathy, and professionalism—focusing exclusively on treatment advocacy, case acceptance, and financial strategy. What You'll Be Doing Case Presentation & Advocacy Lead the
Consultation Experience:
Meet with patients following their clinical exam to present surgical treatment plans with confidence and clarity. Bridge the
Gap:
Translate complex clinical "next steps" into easy-to-understand language, ensuring patients feel informed and empowered to move forward.
Drive Case Acceptance:
Address patient concerns, overcome barriers to care, and serve as the dedicated advocate for the patient's journey from consultation to surgery.
Financial & Insurance Strategy Advanced Financial Consulting:
Confidently present surgical fees and review out-of-pocket responsibilities with transparency and compassion.
Insurance Optimization:
Navigate complex medical and dental insurance benefits to provide accurate estimates and maximize patient coverage.
Creative Financing:
Facilitate third-party financing (e.g., CareCredit) and payment arrangements to make essential surgery accessible.
Strategic Follow-Up:
Manage and track outstanding treatment plans, reaching out to patients to re-engage them in their care.
Surgical Coordination Surgical Flow Management:
Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure the surgical schedule is optimized for complex procedures and doctor productivity.
Referral Relations:
Ensure all specialist referral notes, imaging, and medical clearances are secured to provide a seamless transition into our care.
Continuity of Care:
Serve as the primary point of expert contact for all treatment-related questions, ensuring no patient falls through the cracks.

You are comfortable navigating insurance nuances and have a proven track record of high case acceptance.

You work hand-in-hand with the surgeon to ensure the clinical vision is realized.
Qualifications Experience:
3+ years of dental or medical administrative experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on Treatment Coordinating or Case Presentation (Oral Surgery or Specialty experience preferred).
Education:
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Financial Savvy:
Expert-level understanding of insurance, pre-authorizations, and dental billing.
Tech Proficiency:
High level of comfort with practice management software and digital imaging.
