In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding their treatment plans, ensuring clear communication, accurate documentation, and seamless coordination between patients and the dental care team. Your expertise will help enhance patient experience, improve treatment acceptance rates, and support the overall efficiency of our practice. Responsibilities Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients, clearly explaining clinical recommendations, financial options, and insurance coverage. Achieve high case acceptance rates by overcoming patient objections with empathy and clear communication. Verify dental insurance benefits and accurately calculate patient co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket costs. Prepare and submit clean electronic claims, pre-determinations, and clinical narratives to insurance companies. Manage patient accounts, coordinate third-party financing (such as CareCredit), and follow up on pending treatment plans. Maintain seamless communication between general dentists, specialists (Periodontics, Orthodontics, Endodontics), and the front desk team.

Requirements Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator or Dental Financial Coordinator ( Strictly Required ).

Software:

Strong proficiency with dental practice management software (Open Dental experience is a major plus).

Insurance Knowledge:

Deep understanding of ADA/CDT coding, dental insurance structures (PPO/Medicare), and the appeals/pre-auth process.

Languages:

Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred to best serve our patient community.
