Key Job Duties:
Receive all incoming hospice orders, verify accuracy, and ensure all regulatory and insurance requirements are met. Enter all patient orders, updates, and documentation into the Brightree system and hospice system with high accuracy. Schedule and coordinate all respiratory therapist ventilator checks, ensuring timely care for patients. Act as the primary liaison between office staff and the respiratory team regarding all ventilator orders, setups, and adjustments. Proactively manage the maintenance for all ventilators, ensuring equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and available when needed. Create and manage service tickets for respiratory staff, providing administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in a hospice, home health, or DME setting is preferred. Basic understanding of respiratory equipment, particularly ventilators and oxygen therapy, preferred. Exceptional attention to detail, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to manage multiple schedules at once. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
