This vital role involves managing patient treatment plans, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting clinical operations within a busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and a solid understanding of dental terminology and coding. Bilingual abilities and clinic experience are highly valued to enhance patient communication and care coordination. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to quality patient care while working in a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities Review and verify treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and completeness of documentation. Coordinate with clinicians to facilitate the development and implementation of patient care plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data security. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing multi-line phone systems, and providing excellent patient service at the front desk. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, insurance information, and follow-up procedures in both English and bilingual settings if applicable. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure timely updates of care plans and accurate dental documentation. Maintain high standards of data entry accuracy using Microsoft Office tools like Word and Excel. Support office management functions including filing, faxing, copying, and maintaining organized dental records. Qualifications Proven experience in dental office administration or clinic support roles; dental office experience is a plus. Familiarity with Dentrix software. Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), multi-line phone systems, and typing (10-key). Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and data accuracy. Ability to handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Exceptional communication skills; bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Strong customer service orientation with professional phone etiquette and clerical skills such as filing and office management. This role is integral to delivering seamless patient care coordination while supporting the operational efficiency of our dental practice. •
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental office (required) Strong knowledge of Dentrix software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills People person - outgoing, friendly, and professional Highly responsible, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to confidently present treatment plans and financial options
