Job Description

Providence Dental Spa in Macon, GA is seeking an Experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator for our beautiful & thriving practice!

Key Responsibilities:
Meet with patients to discuss recommended treatment plans, procedures, and associated costs. Clearly explain treatment options, benefits, and any potential risks. Present financial options and work with patients to establish payment plans as needed. Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, processing pre-authorizations, and navigating coverage details. Coordinate appointments with clinical staff, ensuring that all necessary resources and information are prepared in advance. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients with questions or concerns regarding their treatment plan. Update patient records, tracking treatment plans and follow-up care in the practice management software. Collaborate with the front office and dental team to ensure efficient scheduling and patient flow.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in dental assisting, healthcare, or administration is a plus. Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting, preferably in a treatment coordinator or similar role. Familiarity with dental insurance and billing processes. Proficiency in dental practice software (Dentrix Ascend) is a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear, patient-friendly way.
