Satellite Office Coordinator Coastal Medical Staffing - 4.6 Savannah, GA Job Details Full-time From $18 an hour 3 days ago Qualifications Direct patient care Interpersonal skills Medical scheduling Driver's License Medical Assisting Full Job Description Job description: We are looking for an energetic Medical Assistant to assist our surgeons and advanced care practitioners in helping patients suffering from a neurosurgical conditions access care closer to where they work and live. Candidates who are focused on providing effective coordination, enjoy multitasking, and have the flexibility to travel as scheduled in advance to our community offices located in our southwestern markets (Vidalia, Jesup, Hinesville, Brunswick) are encouraged to apply! Job Summary Daily responsibilities may include: Preparing patient charts for appointments, including documents or images needed from the hospital or referring facility as needed for coordination of care. Checking patients in upon arrival and accepting any related co-pays. Obtaining and recording vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, respiration and temperature), medication changes, and updates to the patient's health history between visits. Assisting the provider in carrying out and documenting next steps in the patient's plans of care. Scheduling / rescheduling patient appointments as needed. Supporting physicians with any additional tasks required to ensure great patient care.
Required Skills:
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program OR twelve months of healthcare experience OR current Medical Assistant certification Current driver's license Strong verbal communication skills Comfortable working within multiple software systems including EHR, PM, PACS and Microsoft Office.

From $18.00 per hour
