Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Home Care Coordinator/Branch Manager to join our team. As the Home Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the delivery of home care services in the greater Orofino area. You will be responsible for supervising caregivers, ensuring compliance with care plans, and maintaining excellent communication with your staff, clients, caregivers, and case managers.
Responsibilities:
  • Increase client census while maximizing authorized/billable hours for our clients and caregivers
  • Supervise and provide guidance to office staff, and a team of caregivers, ensuring they deliver high-quality care services to clients.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to assess the quality of care provided and address any client issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement client care plans, taking into account individual needs and preferences.
  • Coordinate and manage caregiver schedules with the Scheduling Coordinator, ensuring appropriate coverage for clients' care needs.
  • Conduct training and orientation sessions for new caregivers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including care plans, progress notes, and incident reports.
  • Monitor caregiver performance and provide feedback, coaching, and support as needed.
  • Address client and family concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring their satisfaction with the care provided.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other external parties to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, best practices, and emerging trends to enhance service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the home care or healthcare industry.
  • Bachelors degree preferred, not required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of home care practices and regulations.
  • Empathy and compassion towards individuals requiring home care services.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and applications for record-keeping and scheduling.
  • Flexibility in working hours, as some evening and weekend work may be required.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay:
$42,000.00
  • $48,000.
