This is an Hourly position.
Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY
Coordinates, leads, and directs the work of other specialists engaged in performing patient and visitor lifts, turns, transfers and transports. Responsible for assisting with department schedules, work assignments, assigning specific work to specialists, prioritizing department workload via Tele-tracking, insuring maintenance of supplies and equipment, assisting with process analysis and improvements, peer interviewing and evaluations, orienting and mentoring new staff, running employee performance and processing time reports, developing process and performance improvement plans as needed in conjunction with management. Performs duties of specialist as time permits or work load requires. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be 18 years old to be considered for position. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic understanding of communication equipment such as pagers, phones and computers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
CPR Certification- BLS, American Heart Association OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
