We focus on giving high-quality, one-on-one care to our patients. Our clinics are run by experienced clinicians, and we value teamwork, strong communication, and great patient relationships. We are an industry leader in the Wichita area. Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Referral Coordinator to help manage patient referrals. In this role, you will work with patients and providers to help ensure referrals are processed accurately and efficiently. Your work helps patients access care in a timely manner and supports a positive healthcare experience. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in a health care, scheduling, referral, or administrative role preferred. Skills Good communication and customer service skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic reading, writing, and computer skills Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks Basic knowledge of medical terminology Ability to work independently and as part of a team Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Ability to maintain confidentiality

You will communicate regularly with patients, healthcare providers, and clinic staff regarding referrals, scheduling, and patient care needs

You will work closely with service coordinators, billers, clinicians, and clinic leadership. Most communication occurs by phone, email, or within the electronic medical record system. Responsibility for

Primary Job Duties Receive, review, and process patient referrals. Coordinate with providers and patients regarding referrals and approvals. Maintain accurate referral documentation within the electronic medical record system. Communicate referral status updates to patients and providers. Follow up on pending referrals. Assist in resolving referral-related issues or discrepancies. Schedule patient appointments as needed. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to improve referral workflows and patient experience.
