Optometric Assistant

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the daily operations of our optometry practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist optometrists during patient examinations Perform preliminary tests and gather patient history to facilitate efficient appointments Provide excellent patient care by addressing inquiries and ensuring comfort during visits Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medical billing processes Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the office and examination areas Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children Familiarity with medical billing processes is an advantage Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support Willingness to learn new skills related to optometry practices and procedures Join our team as an Optometric Assistant, where your contributions will make a meaningful impact on our patients' eye health and overall experience!
