  • Each resident must receive the necessary care and services to attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well being in accordance with the comprehensive assessment and plan of care.   • RCA Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the RCA process by collecting and compiling established data, creating the MDS
  • RCA Assessment, and submitting the MDS
  • RCA Assessment by ensuring data, documentation and information in established systems are accurate.
Skills/Qualifications Experience with, and desires to care for people, especially those who are older and chronically ill. Reference verifications must be favorable in all significant categories of character and performance. Ability to work independently and possess flexibility, good judgment, verbal communication, nursing skills, a safe environment, and positive customer relationships. Ability to engage and embrace culture change and communicate additional education/training needs timely to Supervisor. Education/Requirement + The MDS
  • RCA Coordinator must have completed a training approved by the Department of Health and Human Services.
+ A High school diploma and experience in residential or long-term care setting required. + Bachelor's Degree in health care or related field preferred. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office products is required and knowledge of industry specific software programs such as ECS is preferred. + Expertise in Maine Residential Care Reimbursement, Case Mix and MDS
  • RCA assessment management is a plus.
