Founded in 2015, Premier Rehabilitation has expanded to four Mid-Michigan locations in Holt, Lansing (Frandor), Grand Ledge, and Haslett. Recognized as a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy in the Greater Lansing area, we are seeking an organized, dependable, and customer-focused individual to become an important part of our expanding administrative team. Patient Intake Specialist Full-Time | 4-Day Work Week (10-Hour Shifts) As the outpatient physical therapy clinic of choice in the Greater Lansing area, we are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated team member to help create an exceptional experience for every patient. What We Offer Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 401k Retirement Plan Life Insurance Short-Term Disability Long-Term Disability PTO & Paid Holidays Consistent Full-Time Schedule Position Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and general inquiries Schedule initial evaluations and ongoing treatment appointments across multiple clinic locations Collect, verify, and update patient demographic and insurance information Monitor clinic schedules and contact patients regarding appointment openings Obtain and review referrals, authorizations, and medical documentation Maintain accurate electronic and paper records while ensuring patient confidentiality Coordinate appointment changes to help maintain efficient clinic scheduling Sort and distribute incoming faxes and communicate information to appropriate departments Collaborate closely with clinic teams to ensure smooth patient scheduling and communication What We're Looking For Excellent verbal and written communication skills Friendly, professional, and confident phone etiquette Strong customer service mindset Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and time management abilities Comfortable working independently while supporting a collaborative team Previous medical office, scheduling, or call center experience preferred, but not required Premier Rehabilitation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
