At Columbia Orthopaedic Group, great patient care starts long before a patient enters an exam room. Behind every successful physician is a team member helping keep schedules organized, communication flowing, and important details from falling through the cracks. We're looking for a Physician Support Representative who enjoys staying organized, solving problems, and keeping multiple moving pieces on track. This role serves as a key administrative partner to a physician, helping ensure patients receive timely, coordinated care while allowing the provider to stay focused on what matters most: caring for patients. No two days are exactly alike. You'll help manage workflows, keep communication moving, coordinate patient care activities, and ensure documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. What You'll Be Doing Supporting your assigned physician through daily workflow coordination and administrative organization Documenting encounters, orders, and patient care information within the electronic medical record Coordinating referrals, imaging, authorizations, follow-up appointments, and other patient care activities Managing physician inbox communications and helping ensure outstanding items are completed in a timely manner Serving as a communication bridge between patients, providers, and internal departments What We're Looking For You are organized, proactive, and detail-oriented. You enjoy multitasking, communicating with a variety of people, and finding solutions when challenges arise. Healthcare experience is preferred, but we are equally interested in candidates who are eager to learn, embrace technology, and take pride in supporting both patients and providers.
