You will serve as a key connection point between physicians, employers, adjusters, nurse case managers, injured workers, and internal clinic teams throughout the work comp process. About the Role The Work Comp Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for work comp communication and coordination at Columbia Orthopaedic Group. You will work closely with the Work Comp Supervisor, physicians, clinical teams, employers, and case managers to help ensure communication stays timely, organized, and professional throughout a patient's care journey. What You Will Do Coordinate communication through phone, email, fax, and other communication platforms Build and maintain strong professional relationships with employers, adjusters, and case managers Help keep work comp workflows organized, efficient, and moving forward Communicate with physicians, staff, and outside contacts regarding patient care coordination Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Support a positive experience for injured workers and employer partners What We Are Looking For Previous workers' compensation experience strongly preferred and will set you apart from other candidates Executive assistant or high-level administrative support experience strongly considered Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-starter with excellent follow-through and organizational skills Ability to stay focused and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-first mindset Why You Will Love It Here Monday-Friday schedule A collaborative team environment with strong physician support Opportunity to help grow an expanding Work Comp program Meaningful work that directly impacts patients and employer relationships A culture focused on teamwork, professionalism, and connection If you enjoy staying organized, building relationships, and being the person who helps keep everything moving, this may be the perfect fit for you.
