Job Description

Job Overview Rhea Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our pelvic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will serve as a key point of contact for potential patients, current patients, and providers, ensuring seamless coordination of care services. Your energetic approach will help foster positive patient experiences, streamline communication, and support the delivery of high-quality pelvic healthcare. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, good-natured, and passionate about making a difference in patients' lives through excellent administrative and clinical support. Primary Duties Answering the phone and emails promptly and professionally to assist potential and current patients Act as the primary liaison between potential patients, current patients, and healthcare providers to coordinate appointments and the plan of care Manage patient records with accuracy and confidentiality using medical office software systems Assist with scheduling appointments and procedures, ensuring efficient use of provider time Provide clear explanations of medical procedures and terminology to patients to enhance understanding and comfort Follow up with patients via telephone and/or email regarding their appointments and their care Greeting patients as they enter the clinic and checking patients out as they leave
Additional Duties:
Perform administrative tasks involving maintaining spreadsheets/databases Printing patient handouts and assembling patient welcome folders Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized clinic environment Qualifications Prior experience working in customer service and sales preferred Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations and intimate topics with empathy and professionalism Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent digital literacy, including how to navigate Google Drive, social media apps, and email platforms Experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment preferred but not mandatory Experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail

Rhea Physical Therapy is a growing business and as the practice grows, employee benefits will expand and evolve. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to advance in pay, benefits, and position. Rhea Physical Therapy specializes in women's health and pediatric pelvic health. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with both adults and children, and will be able to comfortably discuss topics surrounding bowel, bladder, reproductive, and sexual health. Passing a background check is required for this position due to the need to interact with children. You must have availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, either Thursday or Friday, and Saturday mornings. Work hours are somewhat flexible and employer is open to discussion regarding specific start time/end time for each shift.
