Coordinator of Resident Life Haywood Street Congregation - 5.0 Asheville, NC Job Details Full-time $55,000 - $60,000 a year 10 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance 403(b) Qualifications Teamwork Volunteer management Bachelor's degree Social Work Stakeholder relationship building Full Job Description Job Overview Haywood Street Community Development, a sister organization of Haywood Street Congregation, is searching for a Coordinator of Resident Life If the opposite of housing is estrangement, not homelessness, the primary role of the Coordinator of Resident Life at Lady Gloria Ridge is to interrupt isolation through relationship. By deepening fellowship individually and community-wide, engaging in person-centered social work, and fulfilling a variety of administrative tasks, this position serves as a steward of life together.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Relationship Building Regular in-home visitation Organize activities in the community room and beyond Celebrate holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and more New resident orientation Non-Clinical Social Work Create care plans as necessary Maintain an external resource guide Oversee internal services (food pantry, financial literacy, art classes, counseling, etc.) Collaborate with case management Conduct resident assessments Administration Daily check-in with community management Weekly team, supervision, and staff meeting Neighborhood outreach and communication Staff support for the Resident Council Manage donations Partner with the Companion Coordinator to support volunteerism Oversee program budget Assist with lease compliance Proactive interventions to maintain resident housing stability Participate in "on call/after hours" rotation
Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Gifts:
Knowledge or skills typically acquired by Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work 3-5 years of work experience addressing housing precarity, substance use disorder, or mental illness Versed in local poverty resources and housing systems Affirmation of Haywood Street theology and practice Comfortable with contextualized work boundaries Extraordinarily empathetic Thoroughly relational Highly collaborative Team oriented This position will include sitting at a computer. This position will frequently involve sitting, standing, walking, stooping and lifting 20lbs. It may occasionally involve lifting more than 20lbs.
Working environments include:
office, residents apartments and outside on the grounds of LGR. The anticipated salary range for this position is $55,000-60,000, based on experience

$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
