Job Description

Aftercare Coordinator 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Job Overview Starting for August 2026, SCS is seeking an Aftercare Coordinator who is responsible for overseeing and leading the school's K-12 aftercare program. The role would work M-F 2-6pm but has the option to be full-time and work noon-6pm. This role supervises aftercare staff, coordinates substitutes for the program when needed, and ensures that the program operates safely, consistently, and in alignment with the school's mission and policies. The Aftercare Coordinator will develop and implement engaging programming, including the creation and management of a structured Homework Club. Southside Christian School is a discipleship school that hires Christian teachers and enrolls students whose parents have provided a letter of reference from a church of like-faith. We currently have over 100 local churches represented in the student body. We are seeking staff with a heart to invest in the lives of students. Our mission is to impact the next generation for Christ by developing intellectual leaders who are developing a Biblical worldview. Requirements A growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior A member in good standing at a church with biblical doctrine consistent with Southside Christian's statement of faith Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or working with a camp is a plus We invite qualified candidates who are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of elementary school students to apply for this rewarding position.
Pay:
$400.00 - $600.00 per week
