Patient & Treatment Coordinator - Oral Surgery Practice (Greensboro, NC) Are you a people-first professional who thrives on creating exceptional patient experiences? Our specialty oral surgery practice in Greensboro, NC is seeking an experienced Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, compassionate, and excels in both customer service and patient education. If you have a strong background in healthcare administration, insurance coordination, or treatment planning—and you love helping patients feel supported throughout their journey—this could be the perfect opportunity for you. What You'll Do Welcome patients and build trusting, supportive relationships from their first consultation through their treatment journey. Present clear, accurate treatment plans, including financial details and insurance benefits, while ensuring patients feel confident in their decisions. Partner with surgeons daily to review schedules, discuss pending cases, and ensure seamless patient care. Act as a liaison between patients, staff, and referring providers, strengthening communication and relationships. Support patients in overcoming financial or emotional barriers to treatment, promoting accessibility and peace of mind. Maintain follow-up systems for unscheduled treatment, pending cases, and patient communications. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience in treatment coordination, patient services, or healthcare customer service (oral surgery or dental is a plus). Strong knowledge of insurance verification and benefits, both dental and medical. A true people person—empathetic, professional, and enthusiastic about helping patients. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to simplify complex treatment and financial information. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
