Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated team as a Behavioral Health Specialist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals facing homelessness, housing needs, addiction and mental health challenges. In this vital role, you will provide street outreach support, case management for our clients, and implement behavior management strategies to promote positive outcomes. Your expertise will help create a safe, supportive environment for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in behavioral health, social work, and crisis intervention while making a lasting impact on the communities we serve. You will need to have a LBSW. Duties & Responsibilities Participates in Street Outreach twice a week Follows up with clients as needed Visits and serve clients that come in for Open Hours Data Management Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to de-escalate situations safely and effectively Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Engage in social work practices by supporting clients' emotional well-being and facilitating access to community resources Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing PTSD or addiction challenges Experience working within guidelines within the NASW code of ethics to ensure client privacy and confidentiality Excellent communication skills for assessments and team collaboration Compassionate attitude with a commitment to patient-centered care in diverse settings Coordinate Free Through Recovery & Community Connect Care in partnership with Prison Reentry-Manager Meet participants to develop and maintain their care plans. $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
