Join Our Expanding Treatment Coordinator Team. South University Dental Associates is a thriving, patient-focused, five-doctor dental practice committed to providing caring, trustworthy dental care. As our practice continues to grow, we are expanding our Treatment Coordinator department and are seeking an exceptional individual who is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral health. This is your opportunity to become part of a growing team dedicated to creating outstanding patient experiences. About the Role Our Treatment Coordinators play a critical role in helping patients move confidently from diagnosis to treatment. They serve as the bridge between our doctors, patients, insurance companies, and scheduling teams to ensure every patient understands their treatment options and feels supported throughout their dental journey. If you enjoy building relationships, educating others, solving problems, and helping people make important healthcare decisions, this may be the perfect role for you. What You'll Do Treatment Presentation & Patient Education Meet with patients in a private consultation setting after diagnosis Translate clinical information into easy-to-understand language Explain treatment recommendations, timelines, and expected outcomes Answer questions and help patients feel comfortable with their care decisions Financial Coordination & Insurance Navigation Verify insurance benefits and coverage Prepare treatment estimates and submit pre-authorizations when necessary Review financial arrangements and payment options with patients Assist patients with third-party financing solutions such as CareCredit and Cherry Create payment plans that help patients move forward with needed treatment Case Acceptance & Follow-Up Build trust and confidence in recommended treatment plans Address concerns regarding cost, scheduling, or treatment complexity Follow up with patients who have not yet scheduled treatment Track unscheduled treatment and ensure patients don't fall through the cracks Scheduling & Care Coordination Coordinate complex, multi-appointment treatment plans Work closely with our five doctors and clinical teams to properly sequence treatment Communicate effectively with front desk, clinical staff, specialists, and patients Maintain accurate records and documentation within patient charts What We're Looking For Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Confidence discussing finances and insurance benefits Exceptional customer service mindset Ability to build rapport and earn patient trust Strong attention to detail Positive attitude and team-first mentality Dental experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person with exceptional people skills Why South University Dental Associates?
