Job Description

Vitality Dental Health is a small, patient-centered dental office seeking a highly motivated, dependable, and solution-oriented Front Desk / Insurance Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning, and can confidently problem-solve to keep the office running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to independently manage challenges related to scheduling, patient communication, and office operations. While prior dental front office experience is preferred, we are happy to provide additional training in insurance and billing for the right candidate who is eager to learn.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Manage phone calls, scheduling, and patient flow efficiently Verify insurance benefits and communicate coverage clearly to patients Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims Troubleshoot claim delays, denials, and account discrepancies Present treatment estimates and collect payments Maintain accurate patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance Anticipate office needs and proactively assist with daily operations Resolve patient concerns with professionalism and strong critical thinking
What We're Looking For:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think independently Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership Ability to adapt quickly and find solutions without constant supervision Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dental front office experience preferred Willingness to learn insurance, billing, and treatment coordination (training provided) Familiarity with dental software (Ascend experience is a plus) Why Join Us? From $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 28.0 - 30.0 per week
