About the
Role:
The Center Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of health care services within our facility. This position is responsible for providing administrative support, assisting patients, and facilitating communication between various departments. The major result of this role is to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall quality of care provided. The Center Assistant will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported throughout their visit. Ultimately, this position is vital in maintaining a positive environment that promotes health and well-being for all patients and staff.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in using office software and electronic health record systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in health administration or a related field. Experience with medical terminology and insurance processes. Bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient population. Knowledge of health care regulations and compliance standards. Previous experience in a fast-paced medical environment.Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. Manage appointment scheduling and patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate communication between medical staff and patients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies. Support the implementation of health care protocols and procedures to enhance patient care.Skills:
