Job Description

Dowhower Personal Care is a small family owned home focused on resident care. We are currently seeking a Med Tech who will also be responsible for resident care. The right candidate for this position will be caring, compassionate, and dependable. Full time/Part time day shift Job Responsibilities Administer medications to residents. Manage office duties (greet visitors, answer telephone, fax, copy, file documents, etc.) Ensure residents needs are met. Complete annual resident assessment support plans. Schedule resident's doctor appointments and arrange transportation. Cover shifts in emergencies. Provide direct care to residents. Required qualifications and skills High school diploma Ability to pass background check. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Flexible to change. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations. EOE Summary As a Med Tech/Resident Care Coordinator, you will be essential in providing compassionate care and support to residents in long-term care settings. Your role will involve medication administration and assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the well-being of individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnosis. With a high school diploma or GED, you will leverage your core skills in caregiving and home care, along with premium skills in first aid and senior care, to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
