Job Description
The Clinician conducts a thorough and immediate assessment of behavioral health crisis and psychosocial needs, including screening for suicidal or homicidal risk. . Transitions clients to wrap aroud services in our clinic
Immediate Supervisor:
Director
Secondary oversight of clinical service delivery by providing direct and/or indirect supervision to Case Managers
This includes face to face supervision and feedback relative to client assessments, admissions, treatment plan development and implementation, treatment plan modification, and discharge planning
Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and create Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and Crisis Education and Prevention Plans (CEPPs)
Report to the Clinical Director in oversight of the quantitative and qualitative records review process for client files; assurance of compliance with contract, accreditation, and licensure expectations and standards
Provide health literacy counseling
Provide individual and family therapy
Maintain an outpatient caseload
Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team and community based partners
Partners with staff and clients to develop and oversee the implementation of person-centered recovery-based treatment plans
Provides crisis intervention as indicated
Monitors service quality outcomes Qualifications
Experience in managing organizational projects to include balancing competing priorities, complex situations and tight deadlines;
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
Ability to be articulate, concisely, compellingly, and diplomatically;
Skilled in managing and interacting with a staff of different cultural and demographic backgrounds;
Ability to think strategically, critically and creatively;
Ability to interact effectively with counterparts within and outside of the organization;
Ability to coach, counsel and develop case managers, including those of different racial, cultural and demographic backgrounds;
Ability to provide management direction in an environment of change; willingness to make difficult and challenging decisions;
Ability to provide clear expectations and directions;
Master's degree in human services (counseling, psychology, social work)
The degree must be from an accredited college or university
Must be licensed or license eligible and have submitted approved application to State of Virginia Licensing Board
Must be able to pass DBHDS criminal background check and Central Registry Checks
Must have experience in risk management and program oversight
Must be certified as being Tuberculosis free
Contractor must clear criminal background and CPS registry checks Staff must be trained certified in: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, Management of Aggressive Behavior or Behavioral Supports
At the time of hire Licensed Clinicians must provide proof of driver's license and insurance

ASSESSMENT
$200 Supervision = $50 per month for each client SA 2.1- $200 SA 2.5 -$200 LPC Hourly rate for all documentation/note (documentation must be per regulation and must be complete for all clients) = $60 ABA diagnosis per client = $60 Assessments must be approved by MCO upon completion of all required documents
