  • Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Treatment Planning Coordinator to join our periodontal team.
In this vital role, you will serve as the central point of contact for developing, coordinating, and managing treatment plans for patients and communicating with insurance companies. Your expertise will ensure seamless communication between patients, providers, and support staff, facilitating efficient treatment workflows and optimal patient outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to compassionate patient care while utilizing your strong organizational and dental administrative skills. Duties Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Coordinate scheduling and follow-up appointments to ensure timely delivery of care Communicate treatment details clearly to patients, answering questions and providing guidance on procedures and next steps including post-operative instructions Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes and administrative documentation Support the clinical team by managing referral processes and liaising with general dentists and other specialists as needed Assist in preparing treatment materials, educational resources, and documentation for patients Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, HIPPA and confidentiality standards in all record-keeping and communications Requirements Previous experience working in a dental office environment or healthcare setting Strong understanding of medical and dental terminology relevant to dental or general healthcare practices Proven ability to provide efficient medical administrative support, including scheduling and record management Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail Experience in a dental office or similar healthcare facility is highly preferred Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly to patients and team members Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Experience in communication with dental insurance providers required Experience in Open Dental preferred Join us in making a meaningful difference by supporting our patients through exceptional treatment coordination in a new periodontal practice.
