Treatment Coordinator

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Treatment Coordinator to join our team part-time. This role is essential in helping patients understand their treatment needs, navigate insurance, and feel confident moving forward with care. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and comfortable discussing financials. Key Responsibilities Create and coordinate treatment plans based on doctor diagnoses Present and explain treatment plans in clear, patient-friendly language Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility prior to treatment Submit pre-authorizations and follow up on insurance claims as needed Provide accurate cost estimates and review out-of-pocket expenses with patients Answer patient questions regarding procedures, timelines, and expectations Discuss and arrange payment options, including financing (e.g., CareCredit) Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, chart notes, and treatment documentation What We're Looking For Previous dental front office or treatment coordinating experience preferred Strong understanding of dental insurance, billing, and pre-authorizations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to present financial information confidently and compassionately Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude Why Join Blue Plum Dental?
