The Swish Dental team is looking for a highly motivated Treatment Coordinator to join our team. Main Duties and Responsibilities Maintain a clean, welcoming studio environment Assist in coordinating studio patient flow Maintain a "team first" and "patient first" attitude Collaborate with the clinical team to chart and code according to the ADA coding guidelines Analyze and modify treatment plans to reflect insurance coverage and limitation details Present and schedule clinical procedures Administer and set up payment plan agreements for financed patient treatment Collect and post payments Create, send, and manage insurance claims Set up accounts and create charts for new patients Upload correspondence from specialists to patient file; follow up on returned correspondence Complete end of day duties to ensure preparation and success the following day Address patient concerns regarding recommended treatment, insurance coverage, or balances due Communicate with patients and coworkers clearly and efficiently Continuously increase knowledge and skills Willingness to train others Other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Fluent in English; verbal and written Reliable transportation to ensure punctual attendance Excellent telephone etiquette and skills Detail Oriented Familiarity with dental terminology Willingness to cover shifts at locations not typically assigned Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree or higher preferred 1+ years of dental experience required 1+ years of customer service experience preferred CPR and/or BLS certification preferred Physical Demands and Work Environment This position may be required to sit or stand for long periods This position may be required to work more than 40 hours per week This position is in a clinical studio environment which can be noisy and distracting This position may be exposed to infectious diseases and/or blood borne pathogens This position may be required to handle sharp objects This position may be exposed to harmful chemicals and/or gasses This position may be required to communicate with others to exchange information This position may require repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingers This position may require the operation of machinery and/or power tools This position may require the assessment of the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned This position may require moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces This position may require medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds Swish Dental is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
