Resident Care Coordinator The Beaumont Assisted Living - 1.0 Bountiful, UT Job Details Full-time 4 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Paid orientation Flexible schedule Life insurance Qualifications CPR Certification Caregiving BLS Certification Staff scheduling Working with geriatric patients Team scheduling Working with seniors First Aid Certification Case management Patient interaction CNA Food Handler Certification Full Job Description The Beaumont Assisted Living is looking for a fun, dependable, organized, hard working CNA with at least 2 years of CNA experience and 1 year as a Med Tech or Lead CNA, and Scheduling experience to work as our new Resident Care Coordinator. This individual would be a vital link between our residents, the nurse, administrator, and other facility staff.

Responsibilities:
Would be expected to work a CNA shift at least 3 days per week and must be willing and able to fill in for other shifts whenever needed Would be expected to keep up with paperwork on the days they are not working the floor Would be responsible for overseeing CNAs - hiring, disciplines, scheduling, etc Would be responsible for helping create care plans, keeping them up to date, and ensuring they match the nurse's assessments Their primary focus should be assisting the residents in all areas of care and coordinating with the facility nurse, physicians, families, care staff, and the administrator to meet the needs of the residents
Requirements:
Be a self-starter and able to work independently Previous Scheduling experience Current CNA License Minimum 2 years of CNA experience Possess a love for the elderly CPR/First Aid Certified Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head Good communication skills, such as being able to communicate effectively with residents, staff, family members, and professionals. Including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner") Possess a love for the elderly Have a positive and compassionate attitude Food Handlers Permit, CNA License, CPR/First Aid Certification, Fingerprints, and TB test are required upon hire.
