Full Job Description Overview:

Our office is excited to welcome a new member to our staff! As a Dental Care Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, so we are looking for someone who is friendly, upbeat, and can multitask well. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of day to day activities. Working closely with the dentist, hygienists, and assistants, you will handle various administrative tasks with efficiency and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will encompass office opening and closing duties, patient communication, scheduling, financial transactions, and treatment/financial coordination. Your proactive approach and team-oriented mindset will contribute to maintaining our office's warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Essential Duties:

• Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and contact patients for confirmations
• Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
• Collect patient information, update medical records, and maintain confidentiality
• Assist with billing and payment processing
• Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
• Manage patient flow and ensure efficient check-in and check-out processes
• Present treatment plans and make financial arrangements within office policies

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience in a dental office
• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and works well with others

Schedule/Office Hours:

Our office is open to patients Friday-Tuesday, 7am-6pm and occasional Wednesday's throughout the year. We are looking for someone to work Friday-Sunday (maybe you are homeschooling your kids or perhaps a full time student looking for extra income).
