Degrees/Experience/Skills:
H.S. diploma or equivalent 2-3 years clerical experience in a health care setting Ability to use Microsoft Office Ability to handle difficult calls and maintain professional conduct • Good communication skills
What You'll Do:
Schedule:
Full time Monday-Friday 0800-1630 Coordinates Medicare-related communication by delivering and documenting Important Message (IM) and Code 44 letters, obtaining required signatures, and supporting appeals processes. Monitors voicemails and ensures timely follow-up. Supports discharge planning by coordinating with vendors, identifying appropriate post-care services (e.g., home health, nursing facilities, hospice), verifying benefits, and communicating updates to care teams. Maintains department operations by updating discharge-related systems, compiling reports and statistics, managing supplies, and providing clerical support such as meeting minutes and general administrative tasks. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
