Independent Contractor (1099) About Element Medical Element Medical is a growing, patient-centered healthcare organization serving Central Florida. We provide chiropractic and medical care with a strong focus on personal injury, musculoskeletal conditions, rehabilitation, and patient outcomes. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Doctor of Chiropractic to join our clinical team as an independent contractor. Position Overview The Chiropractor will provide chiropractic care to patients in a professional, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment. The ideal candidate is confident evaluating and treating patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal complaints, including patients injured in motor vehicle accidents. This opportunity is ideal for a provider looking for flexibility, an established patient flow, administrative support, and the ability to practice within a growing multi-location healthcare organization. Responsibilities Perform chiropractic consultations, examinations, and re-examinations. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans. Provide chiropractic adjustments and clinically appropriate therapeutic recommendations. Evaluate and treat patients with neck pain, back pain, extremity complaints, and motor vehicle accident injuries. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Complete required narrative reports, re-exams, and treatment documentation within established deadlines. Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, progress, and home-care recommendations. Coordinate patient care with medical providers, therapy staff, and clinical support team members. Maintain an active Florida chiropractic license and comply with all applicable professional, legal, and clinical standards. Qualifications Active Florida Doctor of Chiropractic license in good standing. Fluent Spanish and English required. Must be able to independently communicate with, examine, educate, and treat Spanish-speaking patients. Malpractice insurance or ability to obtain and maintain appropriate coverage. Strong clinical examination, diagnosing, and adjusting skills. Experience with personal injury and motor vehicle accident cases is preferred. Experience preparing narrative reports is preferred. Strong documentation habits and attention to detail. Professional communication skills and excellent bedside manner. Ability to work collaboratively with medical providers and staff. Compensation Compensation will be structured on an independent contractor basis and will be discussed based on experience, availability, location coverage, and clinical responsibilities. Important Classification Notice This is an independent contractor position. The selected provider will not be an employee of Element Medical and will be responsible for their own taxes, licensure, insurance, and other obligations associated with independent contractor status.
