Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Chiropractic Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will play a vital role in supporting patient care and enhancing overall wellness. In this energetic position, you will assist chiropractors with patient assessments, treatment preparations, and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every individual. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with their check-in process, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Observe patients closely during consultations to monitor their condition and report any changes or concerns. Support chiropractors during physical examinations, including assessing mobility, posture, and muscle function. Prepare treatment rooms with necessary equipment and assist during procedures such as trigger point therapy or other manual therapies. Educate patients on care plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to promote ongoing health and pain relief. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes using appropriate medical terminology. Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance paperwork. Support acute pain management strategies by providing timely assistance and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate physiology knowledge and anatomy fundamentals. Monitor patient responses during treatments related to primary care or occupational health needs, adjusting support accordingly. Ensure compliance with safety protocols by conducting routine safety checks and maintaining cleanliness of treatment areas. Requirements Experience in patient observation, assessment, and performing physical examinations with attention to detail. Familiarity with pain management techniques including trigger point therapy and acute pain strategies. Ability to communicate clearly with patients about their care plans and treatment procedures. Prior experience supporting primary care or occupational health environments is preferred but not required. Excellent organizational skills for managing patient records, scheduling, and administrative tasks efficiently. Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve patient well-being through attentive care. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced setting.
