Job Description

Position Title:
Chiropractor Position Summary The Chiropractor is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and disorders affecting the spine, joints, muscles, and nervous system. The Chiropractor will develop individualized treatment plans, perform chiropractic adjustments, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with attorneys, case managers, and medical providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, highly skilled in chiropractic care, and committed to providing exceptional patient service while maintaining accurate and compliant medical documentation. Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPatient Care Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and consultations Review medical histories, accident reports, imaging, and diagnostic studies Diagnose musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs Perform chiropractic adjustments and manual therapies Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary Educate patients regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and injury prevention Clinical Documentation Maintain accurate and timely patient records Complete SOAP notes and treatment documentation Document treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations Provide narrative reports when requested Collaboration & Communication Work closely with medical providers, attorneys, case managers, and support staff Participate in patient case reviews and treatment planning Communicate effectively regarding patient status and treatment recommendations Coordinate referrals to specialists, imaging centers, or additional providers when necessary Compliance & Quality Assurance Follow all HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements Maintain professional licensure and continuing education requirements Adhere to clinic policies and procedures Ensure patient safety and quality standards are maintained at all times QualificationsRequired Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college Current and unrestricted Chiropractic License in the State of Texas Strong understanding of musculoskeletal injuries and treatment protocols Excellent communication and patient care skills Ability to maintain accurate and detailed documentation Professional demeanor and strong ethical standards Preferred Experience treating personal injury patients Experience working with attorneys and letters of protection (LOPs) Familiarity with chiropractic EHR systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Chiropractic adjustments and spinal manipulation techniques Patient assessment and treatment planning Medical documentation and reporting Medical Billing Time management and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to perform physical adjustments and manual therapy techniques Ability to lift and assist patients when necessary Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements associated with patient treatment Schedule Full-Time Monday through Saturday Hours may vary based on patient volume and clinic needs Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Performance incentives available Paid time off Continuing education opportunities Professional development support Health and wellness benefits (if applicable) Acknowledgment This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
