Chiropractor (Part-Time) Ikigai Wellness
  • Portland/Tigard, Oregon Ikigai Wellness is a collaborative, integrative clinic specializing in chronic pain care.
We serve patients navigating complex and persistent conditions including musculoskeletal pain syndromes, post-injury recovery, nervous system dysregulation, and stress-related tension patterns. Our model centers on gentle, thorough, hands-on care delivered in a calm, unhurried environment. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Chiropractor, who values subtle, neurologically informed adjustments and whole-person healing. This is not a high-volume, high-speed practice. We prioritize clinical depth, thoughtful assessment, and long-term therapeutic relationships. You will work alongside acupuncturists and massage therapists within a coordinated care team. We are looking for someone who appreciates interdisciplinary collaboration and enjoys contributing to shared treatment planning for complex chronic cases.

Schedule:
20 hours Tuesday & Friday 9 am
  • 6 pm [1 hour lunch break] Saturday 8 am
  • 12 pm Possibility to become full-time, if desired Responsibilities Clinical Care Perform comprehensive chiropractic evaluations including postural, biomechanical, and neurological assessments Develop individualized treatment plans for chronic pain and complex musculoskeletal conditions Deliver gentle, neurologically oriented chiropractic adjustments (NSA, TRT, AK or comparable techniques are strongly valued, but not required) Provide hands-on soft tissue or adjunctive therapeutic techniques as appropriate Monitor progress and adapt care plans based on patient response and clinical findings Maintain accurate and timely chart documentation Collaborative Care Participate in case discussions with acupuncturists and massage therapists Coordinate co-treatment plans when appropriate Communicate clearly with team members regarding shared patients Contribute to a cohesive, patient-centered clinic culture Join the team in contributing to various marketing strategies Patient Experience Educate patients on nervous system regulation, posture, movement patterns, and self-care strategies Foster a safe, trauma-informed clinical environment Build long-term therapeutic relationships with patients managing chronic conditions Professional Engagement Maintain active chiropractic licensure in Oregon Carry professional liability insurance Engage in ongoing continuing education, especially in gentle or neurologically focused chiropractic methods Ideal Candidate Training in multiple modalities and gentle, low-force approaches Strong clinical reasoning skills in chronic pain and complex cases Values slower-paced, relationship-based care Comfortable working within an integrative medical model Excellent communicator with a calm, grounded presence Committed to ethical practice and high documentation standards Ikigai Wellness is committed to providing thoughtful, whole-person care.
