Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled DOT Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient assessment, and occupational health requirements. As a DOT Physician, you will be responsible for conducting physical examinations and performing Department of Transportation (DOT) physicals to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Duties Perform thorough patient observations, including physical examinations and assessments. Conduct DOT physicals in accordance with federal guidelines to certify commercial drivers' fitness to operate vehicles. Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to interpret medical imaging and facilitate accurate diagnoses. Manage occupational health concerns by evaluating work-related injuries and implementing appropriate treatment protocols. Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards. Qualifications Certification to perform DOT physicals in accordance with federal regulations. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques. Excellent patient assessment skills combined with the ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Pay:
$50.00 - $150.00 per hour
