Summary:
Join our team as a Clinical Center Associate I or Clinical Center Associate Trainee for our Information Desk and help create a welcoming, organized, and efficient environment for patients, visitors, and staff. In this role, you'll be the first friendly face patients see—answering calls, greeting visitors, and providing helpful information. You'll keep us to run smoothly by recording and transcribing physician orders, coordinating schedules, assisting with co-pay collection, and supporting daily team activities. Working in a confidential healthcare setting, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with providers and staff while learning the inner workings of clinic operations. If you're detail-oriented, people-focused, and ready to make a difference in the patient experience, this is the role for you. Starting hourly rate for the Clinical Center Associate Trainee position is $19.55. Starting hourly rate for the Clinical Center Associate I position is $21.81. Both positions includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience 1. Medical Office Assistant Associate's degree; or 2. Associate's degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or 3. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or 4. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or 5. High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park).
