- Full Time, Days Boulder Community Health is seeking a Performance Improvement Specialist who will support quality and performance improvement initiatives, patient safety, regulatory, and support evidence-based practices.

Qualifications:
Education or Formal Training- Bachelor's degree is required, with preference given to individuals with a degree in Hospital Administration, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Nursing or ancillary area (Medical Technologist, Pharmacist, Rad Technician). Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience working in a healthcare setting required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare quality improvement required.
- Evidence of relevant education/training in the areas of Lean, performance improvement, change management and/or project management
Responsibilities:
- Conducts education and training in support of Performance Improvement methodologies.
- Develops and adheres to standard work to attain future state goals for assigned Improvement Projects.
- Ensures and promotes adherence Performance Improvement established standard work for RIE Activities across the organization to include, but not limited to, event preparation, A3 review, employment engagement, participant surveys and other event-related tasks.
- Embraces and upholds Encore! Values.
- Maintains a neat and professional appearance, demonstrates commitment and dependability.
- Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission Standards.
- Is familiar with organization, department and job specific Environment of Care areas, including Life Safety, Utilities Management, Hazardous Materials Communications, Emergency Preparedness, Infection Control and Medical Equipment Failure.
- Meets standards of professional and ethical conduct.
- Establishes and maintains effective, professional working relationships with employees, department directors, physicians, other hospital departments, outside agencies and the public.
- Ensures confidentiality of patient information by creating and maintaining a secure and trusting environment by not sharing information learned while performing the position functions except when necessary, in the performance of the job responsibilities.
