Job Description

at State of Delaware in Wilmington, Delaware, United States Job Description This position works as a team member in the Continuous Quality Improvement and Consultation Unit and has a lead role in management of data related to incidents for youth in care. The Management Analyst is responsible for entering the provider incident information into a database daily, analyzing the data, and identifying trends/exceptions that could have a negative impact on the safety and wellbeing of children served and their families, the service provider, or the agency. Data reports are compiled on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis with comparisons being reported. The Management Analyst works with other unit staff to identify and report to division leadership critical situations that the leadership team needs to address. JOB REQUIREMENTS
for Management Analyst II Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Six months experience in conducting studies which includes evaluating operations, programs, services, policies and procedures to determine efficiency, effectiveness, whether goals and objectives are met and compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Six months experience in descriptive statistics such as the mean, median, mode or standard deviation. Six months experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures. Six months experience in narrative report writing. Knowledge of designing studies which includes determining study goals and objectives, information needed, data sources, sampling and collection methods. Knowledge of making recommendations for continuation or changes to operations, programs, services, policies or procedures based on findings.
