Summary Job Summary:
 The Quality and Informatics Assistant provides administrative, document management, data management, and quality support to the Director of Quality. This position assists with quality reporting, committee activities, regulatory and accreditation readiness, electronic document management, data collection, and maintenance of quality-related records and databases. The Quality and Informatics Assistant supports departmental operations through organization of information, maintenance of tracking systems, preparation of reports and meeting materials, and assistance with healthcare quality and informatics activities as assigned.
Education/Experience:
Required High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare, administrative, quality, health information management, data management, or related experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise sound judgment. Preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, health information management, informatics, nursing, or related field. Experience with healthcare quality improvement activities. Experience with EHR systems and electronic document management systems. Experience with regulatory, accreditation, or compliance activities. Experience with administrative support, committee activities, or document management. Experience with data entry, data tracking, or report preparation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrative and Department Support Maintain departmental records, files, and document control systems. Schedule meetings and maintain departmental calendars. Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting materials. Record and distribute meeting minutes and follow-up items. Handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. Process departmental correspondence and routine communications. Quality and Data Support Assist with collection of quality data. Maintain quality dashboards, databases, and tracking tools. Prepare routine reports and data summaries. Assist with quality improvement projects and assigned action items. Assist with internal and external quality reporting activities. Perform data abstraction for assigned quality initiatives and regulatory programs. Committee Support Schedule meetings and distribute agendas. Prepare committee packets and meeting materials. Record meeting minutes and maintain committee records. Track attendance and committee action items. Regulatory and Accreditation Support Assist with regulatory and accreditation readiness activities. Assist with survey preparation and follow-up activities. Informatics and Document Management Assist with EHR forms, workflow testing, and validation activities. Participate in system upgrades and testing as assigned. Support quality-related reporting initiatives. Maintain quality and informatics databases and electronic tracking systems. Assist with electronic forms management and document standardization. Assist with user communication regarding workflow changes. Process document revisions and updates as assigned. Other Duties as assigned.
