Schedule:
Full-Time , clinical dayshift hours M-F, 40 hours/week. Can be either direct hire or temp-to-hire!
Location:
Bloomington, MN. In-office while considered temporary. After becoming a permanent employee, in-office for 90 days before going hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 days remote).
Pay rate:
Up to $34/hour. Compensation may be flexible depending on level of experience/certification.
Position Summary:
The Credentialing Specialist role presents an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in the healthcare industry. You'll have the chance to ensure our team of medical professionals maintains the highest standards of credentialing, directly impacting patient care. This role allows you to work closely with healthcare providers, utilizing your problem-solving skills to overcome challenges in the credentialing process. You'll be at the forefront of ensuring that service is delivered in an empathetic and customer-centric manner to providers and insurance carriers. Competitive Salary Paid Time Off Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate all hospital, payer and care facilities credentialing/re-credentialing for all physicians and advanced practice providers. Process applications, conduct background checks, and maintain updated records for healthcare providers in data base. Liaise with insurance companies to facilitate credentialing and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Communicate daily with healthcare professionals and address inquiries/guide them through their credentialing process/required tasks. Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve any issues that may arise and problem solving credentialing barriers. Additional duties/tasks as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
Completion of an Associate's degree along with a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification is preferred, however candidates with substantial experience in credentialing may be considered without a certification/formal education. At least 2 years of experience in license credentialing for healthcare providers, expertise in credentialing protocols and industry standards. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for success in managing multiple credentialing processes simultaneously. Proficiency in healthcare software databases for tracking applications and maintaining records. Experience with Modio software is preferred but not required. Must be comfortable working and problem solving independently. Communicate effectively and foster customer-centric, positive relationships with healthcare providers and insurance representatives.
