Job Description

Medical Consulting Group is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Accounting Analytics Associate to support data-driven decision-making across our consulting engagements. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and can translate data into actionable insights for both internal teams and clients. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and able to work onsite in Springfield, MO. What You'll Do Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights Develop dashboards, models, and reports using advanced Excel techniques Leverage AI tools to enhance data analysis, automate processes, and improve efficiency Present findings and recommendations clearly to internal stakeholders and clients Collaborate closely with consulting teams to support client engagements Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all deliverables Build and improve scalable analytics processes and workflows What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or consulting Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with keen attention to detail Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, modeling, formulas) Familiarity with AI tools and automation platforms Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Nice to Have Experience in healthcare or medical consulting environments Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Experience working with cross-functional teams and client-facing projects Why Join Medical Consulting Group Work in a dynamic and collaborative consulting environment Opportunity to leverage cutting-edge AI tools in your daily work Exposure to impactful projects in the medical and healthcare space Career growth and professional development opportunities Comprehensive Benefits Package , including: Dual-option medical plan, dental and vision coverage, STD & LTD, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, retirement plan and generous paid time off.
