Summary:
Oversees, promotes and participates in the development and implementation of accreditation requirements throughout Correctional Health Care. Leads Correctional Health Care accreditation readiness activities. Serves as a resource for accreditation requirements. Oversees, promotes and participates in performance improvement/quality improvement (PI/QI) strategies throughout Correctional Health Care. Effectively utilizes PI/QI theory and proven performance improvement methodologies, and coordinates performance improvement activities. Is fluent in the adherence to the Accreditation standards of the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Minimum 3 years of quality improvement or accreditation experience. Demonstrated skills in management, organizational planning, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Excellent critical thinking and analytical aptitude. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to travel as necessary. Reliable transportation to travel between facilities.
Preferred:
Master's Degree in related field. Certification in Lean Six Sigma. Registered Nurse or other Licensed Healthcare Professional with current Ohio licensure, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
Physical Demands:
May need to move around intermittently during the day, including sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating. May need to remain still for extended periods, including sitting and standing. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications. Ability to read job related documents. Ability to use computer.
