  • Monday to Friday, Between 7:00AM
  • 4:30PM Eastern Pay range: $28.41
  • $35 / hour Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained.
Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Prepare and present status of various metrics, data/business analysis to Quest senior leadership. Utilize relevant systems and tools to identify and/or test opportunities for efficiency improvements Recognize and pursue continual improvement of inefficiencies in processes (operational or technical) Collaborate with other business units and departments on best practice Schedule and ad hoc auditing of various systems/databases Preparation of reports as needed by management Identification/communication of billing and reimbursement issues to management Prepares and coordinates presentations/trainings to be used as an educational resource May involve some interfacing with clients, managed care customers, IT resources and others when needed Assignment of special projects as needed Analyze and problem-solve
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher) 3+ years of related experience in billing, insurance and third-party receivables or clinical laboratory healthcare industry, database experience OR Bachelor's Degree in lieu of experience Beginner level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems. Such as but not limited to the following: Outlook (email and calendar), Excel (pivot tables and formulas), Access (pulling database data and queries), PowerPoint, SQL Queries Ability to start workday by 8:30
AM EST Preferred Qualifications:
Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems. Such as but not limited to the following: Outlook (email and calendar), Excel (pivot tables and formulas), Access (pulling database data and queries), PowerPoint, SQL Queries Working knowledge of Health Plan reimbursement, medical terminology, ICD-10, EDI/HIPAA transmission files, CPT and HCPCS coding Experience with Quest Billing System (QBS) and/or other enterprise billing systems
Telecommuting Requirements:
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Must live in a location where Quest Diagnostics approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet connection All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to Quest Diagnostics' Telecommuter Policy.
