Salary Range:

$95,000 - $105,000

Annual Bonus:

$62.50 per hour Role Overview As a CDI Specialist, you will play a critical role in improving the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical documentation. You will collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams to ensure documentation accurately reflects patient severity of illness, risk of mortality, and quality of care—supporting compliant coding, reimbursement, and reporting outcomes. Key Responsibilities Review clinical documentation to identify opportunities for clarification and improvement. Analyze clinical indicators to support accurate, compliant physician queries. Develop clear, concise, and compliant queries in alignment with AHIMA, ACDIS, and AHA Coding Clinic guidelines. Apply

knowledge to support accurate capture of severity of illness and risk of mortality. Partner with providers to promote documentation best practices and reduce ambiguity. Maintain high standards for productivity, quality, and regulatory compliance. Stay current on CDI best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
