Responsible for data collection, analysis and performs evaluation of programs. Reviews requests for data and data usage and creates analytic tools to identify and communicate performance metrics. A Brief Overview Designs and develops monitoring and evaluation systems. Responsible for data collection, analysis and performs evaluation of programs. Reviews requests for data and data usage and creates analytic tools to identify and communicate performance metrics. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in the field to the completion of moderate assignments. What you will do Partners with internal departments and coordinates activities required to initiate research studies. Conducts evaluation studies that examine the effect/outcome of services provided under a specific community health program. Follows established procedures, ensures compliance with grant requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures. Performs other job functions as assigned or requested. Education/Formal Training Requirements Required
  • Master's Degree Social Services Preferred
  • Master's Degree Psychology Work Experience Requirements Preferred
  • Quantitative and qualitative evaluation methodologies Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge in conducting program outcome measurement, data analysis, and related reporting.
Interpersonal skills sufficient to conduct interviews and facilitate focus groups. Ability to display information persuasively in support of data-driven decision making. Shows respect for and acceptance of ethnic, cultural, gender, and generational differences. Knowledge of research design and statistical analysis to include regression techniques, proficiency with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS, or SAS. Knowledge and work experience with relational databases such as MS Access. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point. Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate activities with grant partners toward one goal. Valid Tennessee driver's license and insurable by the Medical Center's insurance carrier. Supervision Provided by this Position There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position. Physical Demands The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Available to work a flexible scheduling including evenings to accommodate program participant schedules.
